Weekly Crop Progress Report- 6/21/22- Corn and Soybean Ratings Fall Slightly

For the week ended Sunday, June 19th, we saw both corn and soybean condition ratings fall slightly after a week or searing heat across much of the country. 70% of corn was rate good to excellent, down 2% from last week. Soybeans were 68% good to excellent which was down 2% from last week as well. Soybean planting progress is 94% nationwide as of Sunday.

Winter wheat (which is largely behind harvested right now) was rated at just 30% good to excellent with about 25% of harvest completed as of Sunday. Spring wheat is rated as 59% good to excellent with planting progress now at 98% nationwide.
