(WASHINGTON D.C.)– The latest Cattle on Feed Report from USDA showed cattle and calves on feed up 2% from the same month last year.
The inventory number totaled 11.9 million head while placements totaled 2.16 million head, 4% above last year. Marketings were down 3% and other disappearance was 2% above 2022.
