We saw the grain and oilseed markets rally with some short covering strength on Thursday as May corn, soybean oil and Minneapolis wheat broke above the 20 day moving averages. Chicago wheat was a bit weaker after a Chinese cancellation of SRW was announced on Thursday morning. Livestock trade was mixed on the session to slightly higher.
Bryan Doherty with Total Farm Marketing joins us in Segments 3 and 4 to recap the trade and discuss the grains ahead of Friday’s WASDE Report along with a look at livestock and dairy. Learn more at https://www.totalfarmmarketing.com.
We also feature a conversation from the Thursday morning episode of Agriculture of America (AOA) with Arlan Suderman, Chief Commodities Economist at StoneX, from their Ag & Dairy Outlook conference as we discussed the commodity markets, outside markets and more. More at https://www.stonex.com.
