Grain and Livestock Hit the Midweek Snooze Button

The trading session has been on the quieter side in both grains and livestock.  The live cattle market is trending mostly higher once again, backed by continued long-term bullish sentiment. A few nearby contracts are taking a breather, trading slightly lower—but that looks more like a brief pause than a change in direction. Traders appear to be waiting for a fundamental signal to keep pushing higher, and that could come in the form of stronger cash cattle sales.
